Put subcontractors on your jobs
Invite a contractor's engineer or a whole subcontractor crew. They sign in with their own login, see only the jobs you assign them, and lose access on the date you set.
What a contractor sees
Once they accept, you assign and schedule them like anyone on your team. They see a lot less than your team does.
Their jobs
The jobs you assign them, with the form for each job type, the customer on the job and the parts they use. They can report anything they notice on site.
What they can't open
They don't see your customer list, anyone else's jobs, your reports or your settings. When their access ends they lose their own jobs too. What they did stays in your records.
Other firms they work for
A contractor who works for other WorkWing customers uses one login for all of them. The notes, skills and history you record about them are only visible to you.
Who owns the login
You never create or manage a contractor's login. When you invite one, you say whether the arrangement is with them or with the firm they work for.
A freelancer, or someone covering a busy fortnight, connects with an email address they own, and only you or they can end it. An engineer sent by a firm signs in with their work login, and the firm's name shows next to theirs in your members list.
You can also require two-factor sign-in on any one connection. It applies to that connection and nowhere else.
When the work stops
Every connection has an end date, up to a year ahead. You can remove someone earlier from your members list. To keep them on past the end date, send a new invitation, and their record and history carry over.
If a contractor can no longer sign in, whether the end date passed or their firm closed the account, you can't assign them new work. They're marked in your members list, and their open jobs are listed on your dashboard to reassign.
Working with a whole firm
Each worker connects on their own, into the brand you choose. To keep one firm's people together, give them a shared tag or put them in a team.
On every paid plan, contractors have their own seat pool, separate from your team's. Free doesn't include contractors.
